Melissa White has been with Keches & Mallen, P.C. since 1999 when she became Of Counsel. She previously co-founded the law firm of Pasquale & White, where she represented clients in medical malpractice cases.

Ms. White has been an attorney since 1990 and a registered nurse since 1983. She attended the Suffolk University Law School after receiving a bachelor's degree in economics also from Suffolk University. Currently, her practice focuses on the evaluation and preparation of potential medical malpractice cases representing patients and their families. Ms. White says, "I love this role as a patient advocate. I am able to carefully scrutinize the quality of the health care that has been delivered, and to represent those parties who have truly been harmed as a result of a health care provider's failure to adhere to the proper standard of care. My hope is that by holding accountable those health care providers who have not done what should have been done, I can help the injured patients and their families, and I can also effectuate change the way that particular health care provider approaches a patient, assesses needs and delivers care."

Ms. White has extensive nursing experience in adult medicine, critical care, labor and delivery and pediatrics. As a practicing attorney, Ms. White has also taught at the college level in the areas of health ethics, nursing negligence and medical malpractice. She has also lectured extensively to other attorneys in handling medical malpractice cases. Ms. White has represented clients in health care disputes in the both the Probate and Superior Court for over 14 years.
